The Flood Run® has a history of giving. In 1965, 12 motorcycle riders rode 90 miles to Winona, MN to help sandbag during the 1965 Flood.
Most of the original 12 spent the next several years in Vietnam, but all were back home by 1970. They decided to carry on the tradition. Jim Noteboom named the ride The Flood Run®. As the years went by, a fall Flood Run® was added to have twice as much fun.
Gold Star Run: This is the advanced run! Pick up your stamp.card at the CVMA welcome desk at the Mayo Civic center.
Register for the Gold Star Run at the Flood Run® online, link will be provided once approved.
Registration is $25, earn a CVMA Gold Star Pin and Patch. Pin and patch will have Flood Run 2024 and CVF FCV.
Ride the entire run route. Stop at all of the Gold Star locations along the run to get your card stamped. Return your stamped card to the same location where you picked it up before close that evening. **ALL STAMPS/RIDE MUST BE COMPLETED IN ONE DAY**
Pick up your custom Flood Run® Gold Star Pin and tge end. Congratulate yourself for your achievement. Ride the entire run route. Stop at all of the Gold Star locations along the run to get your card stamped. Return your stamped card to the same location where you picked it up before close that evening. You just enjoyed a 50+ year tradition for MN, WI and IA riders and saw some beautiful scenery!
