I'm setting off at 7:00pm with approx 3.8m tide rising,
Sunset is 7:40pm, and it will be a half moon.
Launch from Tyee Spit parking lot by the playground. There are washrooms and kayak launches with a grassy area for prep.
Route heads up estuary, across Campbell River and up the back channel to the Raven Trail where I (*we) wait for the last paddler and set off as a group under the Hwy 19 bridge and back down river with lights on and music up!
This is a personal responsibility event, all choices are yours including byob, 420, vessel or pfd's. 😉
