After the overwhelming success of the first sound bath at St George’s with the Festival of Sound, we are delighted to return to this stunning venue. Join us on Sunday 1st February for an immersive afternoon of sound designed to carry you into deep rest & relaxation. This sound bath is a symphony of resonant energies, inviting you into a transcendent experience that combines the unique vibrations of various healing instruments. Each sound wave produced is carefully curated to resonate with the energy fields of our bodies, initiating a process of internal balance and rejuvenation. Surrounded by the serene architecture and acoustics of St George’s Church.
Immerse yourself in the rich tonalities of a gong, crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, framed & ocean drums, shruti box, tuning forks and occasionally, the human voice, each contributing to an orchestra of healing frequencies. The combined sound waves aim to harmonize the energies within and around you, facilitating a deep connection with your inner self. Guided by Eleanor, a multi-disciplinary practitioner, who draws on a diverse background in Ayurveda, Breathwork, sound, energy and colour therapy.
Good for: Those looking for an all-encompassing sound bathing experience and individuals open to exploring the unique impact of various therapeutic instruments on their wellbeing.
You'll leave feeling: Refreshed, balanced, and in a state of tranquility.
Please note, falling asleep is a natural reaction to deep relaxation, and you may hear deep breathing in the session. However, if loud snoring occurs, you will be gently woken to ensure a calm experience for all.
Running late? Due to the nature of the session we have a strict no-latecomers policy. All sessions start promptly on time to avoid disruption to other people in the class. Please do not arrive 15 minutes before the session starts.
No experience is needed - this session is open to all.
Cushioned mats, and eye pillows are provided. Please wear gloves and thick socks, and bring a warm blanket or sleeping bag and cushion for your head. If you tend to run cold please wear extra layers. There are heaters in the church but this will be the first time using the Church in Feb so we don't know how warm it will be - much better to have too much on rather than not enough. The warmer you are, the more relaxed your body will be - which will enable you to get the most from this experience.
For the best experience, please avoid eating up to two hours before the session (or keep it light if needed).
Tickets
All tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable once booked (unless the event is cancelled by the host). If you can’t attend, you’re welcome to gift or resell your ticket directly to someone else (please let me know so I can update the guest list).
If cost is a barrier, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly - I’m always happy to discuss reduced-price options so these sessions remain accessible.
