Powertex floating cup sculpture WorkshopThe Galleria - Burton Latimer

Powertex is a water based, non toxic and environmentally friendly fabric hardener and sculpting medium. Powertex can be used on its own as a fabric hardener on natural fibres or can be added to other products to make clays.
In this class I will guide you through the process of using powertex to design and create your floating cup sculpture using various fabrics and embellishments. Once dry you will then colour your sculpture using a dry brushing technique, the exact colour and design are your choice and down to your own imagination. There will examples to inspire your imagination. Once finished you take your finished piece home with you.
Everything You need will to make your floating cup will be provided including gloves and apron. Please do wear old clothes you don't mind getting a little messy.
