Flo Perlin is honoured to have composer and musician Kaidi Akinnibi feature on her track ‘Part Of Me’ which was recorded at MAP Studio in Kentish Town. Growing up in South London, Kaidi Akinnibi has a multi-faceted outlook on music, as learned from the sounds of Kinetika Bloco, Jazz Warriors and his explorations in the vibrant UK music scene. This shows in the eclectic variety of artists he works and writes with, including Tom Misch, Wizkid, Black Midi, Celeste, and many more. With his powerful yet sensitive soprano/tenor saxophone played throughout and his sincere vocals in the chorus, Kaidi’s and Flo’s distinct vocal blend is warm and vulnerable. Kaidi Akinnibi and Flo Perlin met in 2023 at Omeara, London, where they both supported artist Poppy Ajudha.
