At our last event, in front of everyone, one fella asked the woman he was dating to be his girlfriend - she said yes! We are also thrilled that two strangers from different walks of life connected, and 4 months later they are still happily dating!

🌟 WHAT TO EXPECT
⚡7:00 - 8:00 PM: SPEED MEETING (8:20 PM, depending on participation)
Upon arrival, guests can choose a coloured wristband to showcase their intentions for connection (more info below). A short introduction explaining how the Speed Meeting will flow begins at 7:20 PM sharp, so please arrive on time to get your wristbands and be seated.
We’ll have tables set up where individuals can “design your own wristband” with markers and write something about yourself or your intention for connection. Examples could be:
✨“Single parent looking to meet other parents”
✨“Hiker or motorcycle enthusiast seeking adventure friends”
✨“Business owner looking for inspiration and contacts to drive success!”
Jen❣️ will be writing “Neuro-spicy artist and nature lover” and sharing that she's open to friendly connections with other creatives. Tove 🦊 will write “Gentle + fierce explorer - here to connect, collaborate, and play.” The possibilities are endless - this is your time to shine a light on what’s important to you and manifest the outcome you desire!
We encourage everyone to take no longer than one minute to share their wristband and introduction to ensure everyone has a chance to speak. Please hold questions or comments until everyone has shared. Once introductions are complete, each table will open for discussion. We will have some fun icebreaker questions available to spark conversation!
After everyone has had a chance to connect, half of the group will be asked to move to the next table, giving everyone a chance to meet all attendees! The time at each table will depend on how many tickets are sold ✨please✨ purchase your tickets in advance to help us keep the event flowing smoothly!
Once the Speed Meeting concludes and we move into the dance portion of the night, we encourage anyone flirting with the idea of further connection to engage in a consent-first way. We ask that everyone approach others by saying, “Are you open to having a conversation with me?” After that, a simple “yes” or “no” is all that’s required - no explanations necessary. Let’s keep it kind, respectful, and fun!

Safety and consent are at the heart of every FLIRTY event. This is a consent-first space where participants must obtain clear consent before engaging in any form of physical contact or entering personal space, including the dancefloor.
Consent means a clear, voluntary, and enthusiastic agreement to connect, expressed through words and actions, and understood by all parties involved. It’s about actively seeking and respecting each other’s boundaries, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and safe.
👉 If you feel uncomfortable at any point, or if someone does not respect your boundaries, please let our door volunteers know.

DJ Exclamation Heart and DJ Arctic Fox will be spinning classic tunes and epic remixes of music that has stood the test of time! From the 60’s to now, we promise to play tunes that will keep you on the dance floor and anticipate more!
We want to see flapper dresses, 80’s spandex, 90’s grunge - whatever floats your boat! Come adorned in your favorite old school threads so you can win the prize for best dressed!
