About this Event
Get an exciting, hands-on look at what flight training is really like at IAA. During this two-hour preview event, you’ll experience key parts of a real training day, from simulator time to aircraft walkthroughs, and meet the instructors who guide our students through their first lessons.
You’ll move through several interactive stations and get a clear feel for the structure of flight training. At the end, you’ll have the option to schedule a future Discovery Flight.

Learn about Illinois Aviation Academy and how we can train you to become a pilot. Find out what a day in a flight student's life is like and discover how to make your flight training goals a reality. Our admissions team is excited to talk training and will be available to field any questions and comments.

The Academy trains for 6 certifications and ratings, professional development, immersive Atlas experience, as well as Certified Flight Instructor and high-performance aircraft time building.
Throughout the journey, cadets will get to know Atlas Air's dynamic and global culture, both in-person and through an exclusive online community. The Atlas Cadet Academy is in West Chicago at DuPage Airport (KDPA). Part 141 training is provided by Illinois Aviation Academy.
