Fleisher x YOWIE: MORNING GLAZE

Join Fleisher and YOWIE in Fleisher’s historic Sanctuary for MORNING GLAZE. Fleisher’s teaching artist, Scott Cooper, will lead you through a morning celebrating ceramics with a wheel throwing demo, an introduction to glazing techniques, and a workshop to design and decorate your own ceramic vessel designed by Cooper. No art experience is necessary. All supplies are included.

Tickets are $25 and are considered a charitable donation. The fees added to your ticket allows Fleisher to receive the full donation amount. All proceeds from this event will go towards supporting Fleisher’s mission of making art accessible to all across Philadelphia.

All participants will be asked to pick up their completed ceramic vessels from Fleisher after they are fired in our kilns (approx. 2 weeks). Pick-ups will be available in our lobby between 10am-5pm on Friday, February 17th and 10am-2pm on Saturday, February 18th. Questions? Currently located at 716 S. 4th Street, YOWIE is a home and life shop and studio focused on curating small collections from independent artists and designers. This spring, YOWIE will be expanding to launch its new flagship location at 226 South Street.
