September 10 | 1 – 3 p.m. | Included with admission to the Indiana History CenterJoin us for a monthly taste of history as we highlight the food culture that has shaped and continues to shape the Heartland. Food is a universal connector; it connects us, reminds us of our past, and introduces us to new cultures. The dishes we eat are flavored by the communities and cultures that call Indiana home. Take a break and enjoy the stories and smells of the dishes that make up our food heritage. Each month will feature a historical, family, or community recipe as presenters share stories of their food culture. Copies of the recipes will be provided for guests to recreate at home.
