Join us for a one-hour themed workshop where we’ll teach you some wicked dips and drops - perfect for adding power, technique, and that extra “wow” to your dance repertoire!
Jess and Taz will guide you through the techniques for executing safe, smooth, and stylish dips and drops in this workshop.
This will be a fixed couple workshop - sign up as a couple, dance as a couple, we will not rotate round the class. If you are interested in the workshop but don't have a dance partner, please let us know! We are happy to help pair up dancers so you get the opportunity to join us ☺️
This is for intermediate plus dancers and above. An intermediate plus dancer is someone who is comfortable with Ceroc class intermediate routines most weeks (including the final move of the routine).
✨ SILC: Foundation & Progressive ✨
In this session of our Slow, Smooth & Stylish workshops, you'll explore SILC-based movements, applying foundation and progressive techniques.
This workshop is suited for intermediate dancers and above.
Workshop is a ticket only event so we can gender balance.

This workshop will guide you through the timeless beauty of slow-paced dance styles, emphasizing fluidity, posture, and effortless connection with your partner.
Taking place before our Sunday afternoon tea dance, Flava, you'll have the perfect workshop to set you up for our four hour freestyle.
Freestyle: 14:00pm - 18:00pm £12 [£18 for workshop & freestyle]
You are more than welcome to bring lunch/snacks to have before Flava to re-fuel you ready for an afternoon of dancing.
Our resident DJ, Jen Eddy, will keep you on the floor with music at a slower pace, perfect for a chilled afternoon. We will provide sweet and savoury treats, homemade cakes, and hot drinks (please bring a mug with you to save on disposable cups). Bring a homemade cake/savouries with you and get your next Ceroc South Wales class free!
Our Flava Tea dances are held in Nash Village Hall, Newport. This venue has free parking on site, a beautiful floor, with plenty of seating around the dance floor.
