Come out of hibernation and learn a new sport!It's time to kick off our Spring Season with our Rugby 101. We are Maryland's first and only LGBTQ+ centered rugby team and you definitely want to hang out with us.

LOCATION
"Athletic Field at Patterson Park Annex" will take you exactly to us on Google Maps. "Patterson Park" should also take you to us, we are on the field up the hill, directly across the street from the dog park. We will make ourselves really pink so you can't miss us.
This is FOR rookies. We do not expect you to have ever seen, touched, or thought about a rugby ball. If you've done any of those things before, you're already doing great. If you've PLAYED rugby before? Wow, slay, we want you here too.
Rugby is a rough sport but the 101 is not, so don't be scared. This is what we will do:
- We introduce you to our mission, coaches, board and other cool people
- We teach the basics without tackling, that comes later
- We play some lil games, run some lil drills
- We tell you how to join the team, but won't pressure you (I will send you an email though)
- We have a social after where you can make some friends
The 101 IS an active, probably cold, day. Bring:
- Water
- Clothes/shoes you can run and get dirty in, that will keep you warm to start, but that you can remove layers of if you get too warm
- A friend for support if you want to, even if they won't play
