FLAMENCO WORKSHOPS WITH MARIA BERMUDEZ AT FLAMENCO HAVEN

Maria will be arriving in Seattle from what is considered the cradle of flamenco, Jerez de la Frontera, where she has lived many years. Bringing with her the 'aire' or essence of how to interpret the dance in these por fiesta workshops.

Maria's knowledge and experience with the art form is prolific, making her an incredible resource, and she is both nurturing and generous as a teacher. This emanates through her warm spirit, positivity and compassion as a person. Those that have studied with Maria in the past have been eagerly anticipating her return to the Pacific Northwest and now it's finally going to happen!

There are two workshop levels to choose from. Choose your workshop level wisely because Maria will be digging in deep and sharing her vast knowledge of por fiesta including cante, theory, technique fundamentals, exciting choreography, plus there will be live guitar accompaniment towards the end of the week to tie everything together!

Tangos por fiesta 3-night Advance Beginners/Intermediate levels - First hour of technique, followed by Tangos patadas.

Dates - Mon, Wed, Thu evenings September 26, 28, 29

Times – 7:00-9:00pm at Flamenco Haven

Bulerias por fiesta 4-daytime Advance Intermediate/Advance levels - First hour of technique, followed by Bulerias patadas

Dates - Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri daytime September 27, 28, 29, 30

Times - 11:00am-1:00pm at Flamenco Haven

$150 for 3-Night Tangos por fiesta workshops (6-hours total)

$200 for 4-Daytime Bulerias por fiesta workshops (8-hours total)

After September 15th Rate -

$180 for 3-Night Tangos por fiesta workshops (6-hours total)

$240 rate for 4-Daytime Bulerias por fiesta workshops (8-hours total)
