We are pleased to announce that one of the world's finest flamenco and Spanish guitarists will be returning to us here at Old Bakery Studios on Sept 22nd 2023.
One of the highlights of our 2022 season, Juan Martin is in league of his own. If you play guitar, love Spanish music or love Spain, you need to be at this concert!
Where to start with this man? He has been voted the world's top Flamenco player twice by Guitar Magazine. He has played with Paco De Lucia and Miles Davis. He was invited to play at Picasso's 90th birthday party. He has played all over the world including the Royal Albert Hall with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. His compositions have been compared to those of Spanish giants Tarrega, Albeniz and Turina. The list of achievements is endless.
And he's coming to play, solo, up close, here in Truro. We've already said it but seriously, if you play any sort of guitar you absolutely must come to this gig, If you love Rodrigo's Guitar Concerto , Albeniz Asturias or Cavatina you are going to want to be at this concert.
