About this Event
As the shortest and darkest day of the year arrives at Winter Solstice, celebrate the coming light at the Sapphire Room. Local poet Rebecca Evans will lead the audience through a journey with Flamenco Idaho’s music and dance. Come burn what needs to be left behind in a sculpture created for this event and design a path into the New Year.
Flamenco Idaho is a performing group drawing inspiration from classical guitar, contemporary dance and art performance, cultural music, and the rich traditions of Flamenco. Their work blends new and traditional forms, representing the diverse artistry of the group’s members, whose backgrounds include classical, cultural, and experimental music, numerous dance forms, visual art, and poetry.

Join us for dinner and drinks! The Sapphire Room features a full dinner and bar menu. The Sapphire Room is all-ages and family friendly. Every person that enters must have a ticket. No babes in arms.

With the purchase of a ticket, Sapphire guests are eligible for The Riverside Hotel's "Sapphire Getaway" for $179 + tax. This rate is available for the night of the Sapphire Room show and includes a standard hotel room (double occupancy) and breakfast for two the following morning. To reserve, please call the Riverside Hotel front desk at 208-343-1871. The Sapphire Getaway rate is subject to availability and blackout dates. It will not be available for every show.
