Flamenco Idaho was created to help encourage the learning and performance of Southern Spain's traditional music and dance form.Flamenco Idaho is a performing group who draws inspiration from classical guitar, contemporary dance/art performance, cultural music and Flamenco. They are focused on performing new and traditional works that represent the artists that comprise the group. Flamenco Idaho performers come from a varying background including: classical, cultural and experimental music, numerous dance forms, visual art and poetry.
Kelli Brown has been dancing professionally in Boise and the Northwest for over twenty years. She has traveled to Spain a number of times for intensive study and has received artist grants from both the FFT Fellowship and the Alexa Rose Foundation Fellowship to pursue her love of Flamenco Dance.
