In this intimate show, award winning Flamenco Borealis combines traditional and modern takes on Flamenco. Emerging from the fusion of Gypsy, Moorish and Spanish cultures, Flamenco expressed the emotional landscape of the people of the south of Spain. Today, as a universal art form, Flamenco gives voice to feelings and experiences that are common to all humankind. While embracing its acoustic roots, this show explores how electronic and synthetized sounds can enrich the sonic world of flamenco. The performance will mesmerize and delight with eclectic musical arrangements, passionate, percussive dancing, haunting guitar melodies, and pulsating rhythms.
