The Florida Class "D" – Security Officer Training Course is a Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services required course to apply for a Florida Security License. This 40-hour course meets all training requirements needed for licensure.
The course consists of 40 hours of training plus testing time.
Monday to Friday, 8:00 am (08:00) to 5:00 pm (17:00).
All Students must wear appropriate attire.
- No open-toe shoes / Must wear closed shoes
- No Cutoff pants/shorts/shirts
- No Shorts or Pants with holes
The price includes:
- Classroom Fee - Everything you need to know to complete the licensing requirements set forth by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services to get licensed as a Security Officer
- Certificate of Completion
- Florida Class "D" Application
Please bring to class:
- Your VALID State Issued Identification Card, Driver’s License, or Passport
- Pen
- Notepad or Paper for notetaking

Refunds: Attendees can receive refunds up to 30 days before the initial registered course start date. Within 30 days before class, you may reschedule for a maximum of 1 time and pay the difference.
