Dönsum jólin inn! Verið hjartanlega velkomin á fjölskyldu-dansspunaball með Völu Rúnarsdóttur! Það verður sannkölluð jólastemning þar sem jólin verða nýtt sem þema í hreyfingu og dansi. Við leikum okkur með hreyfimöguleika líkamans og hvernig hann tengist rýminu, ryþma og tónlist. En þó aðallega ætlum við bara að dansa og skemmta okkur.
Fjölskyldu-dansspunaballið er fyrir alla, allir hreyfa sig með sínu lagi.

Valgerður Rúnarsdóttir (Vala) byrjaði snemma í dansi og hefur dansað allar götur síðan, hún hefur starfað sem dansari og danshöfundur, hérlendis og erlendis. Hún hefur leitt fjölda verkefna, dansað og samið verk fyrir Íslenska dansflokkinn m.a. Árstíðirnar, fyrir leiksýningar á borð við Fíusól og kvikmyndina Abbababb. Þá hefur hún haldið dansvinnustofur og leitt verkefni með grunnskólabörnum víða um land.
Aðgangur er ÓKEYPIS! Engin skráning, bara mæta.
Hentar börnum og fullorðnum á öllum aldri. Tíminn er kenndur á íslensku og ensku ef þarf.
Á Dansverkstæðinu er gott hjólastólaaðgengi.
*Barna- og fjölskyldudagskrá Dansverkstæðisins er styrkt af Barnamenningarsjóði og haldin í samstarfi við Assitej á Íslandi og Reykjavík Dance Festival.

Welcome to a family dance improvisation party with Vala Rúnarsdóttir! There will be a festive spirit as Christmas will be used as a theme in movement and dance. We play with the movement possibilities of the body and how it relates to space, rhythm and music. But mostly we are just going to dance and have fun.
The family dance improvisation party is for everyone, everyone moves in their own way.
Come and have a good time with the family in the hustle and bustle of Christmas. Christmas delicacies, gingerbread and coziness will be served.
Valgerður Rúnarsdóttir (Vala) started dancing at an early age and has been dancing all the way since, she has worked as a dancer and choreographer, in Iceland and abroad. She has led numerous projects, danced and composed works for the Icelandic Dance Company, including Árstíðirnar, for plays such as Fíasól and the film Abbababb. She has also held dance workshops and led projects with primary school children around the country.
FREE admission! No registration, just show up!
Suitable for children and grown ups of all ages. The class is taught in Icelandic and English if needed.
Dansverkstæðið has wheelchair access.
