Come fix all the things! We will be hosting our fourth ever Fix-it Fair at the Ohio Street Workstudios. We will have clothing mending, small appliance repair, knife sharpening, bike repair, jewelry repair, shoe polishing and plant triage.All repairs are done free or by donation. Repairs requiring additional time or parts may be referred elsewhere.
Let us help you bring all your favorite things back to life!
Participating volunteers include:
Ragfinery: Clothing mending (machine and handstitiching)
Julie of Sew Darned Knotty: Clothing mending and visible mending tutorials
NW Free Repairs: Small appliance repairs -several small appliance repair people and a sewing machine repair specialist, and a phone and computer specialist. We fix small appliances, lamps, kitchen items, tools, electrical items, kids’ toys, space heaters – basically anything you can bring in. While we can’t fix everything, we do have an excellent record of successful repairs. Please don't bring anything containing gasoline or petroleum products, hazardous, or grimy items
Tuna Bird Bikes: Bike Repair - safety checks & small adjustments (including brakes and shifting), as well as flats fixes. Tubes and parts are available for purchase or bring your own. For larger fixes, bring your bike for a free diagnostic and we will get you on the schedule for service/repairs.

Ryan of Double M Metalworks and Hunter Lydon: Knife Sharpening - limit 2 knives per person
Live music by Honey Ruckus
Bring items to be repaired at no cost (donations gladly accepted).
Items requiring additional parts and tools may be referred out to other local organizations/businesses.
For those bringing multiple items to repair, please be advised that if others are waiting, we will repair one item and ask that you wait in line again for additional repairs so that we can serve as many people as possible in the short time we have.
Repairs cannot be guaranteed but volunteers will do their best!
