Inspired by the Peterborough Repair Café, this hands-on event teaches you how to bring new life to broken items instead of throwing them away. Whether it’s a torn shirt, a broken gadget, or a household item that needs a fix, you’ll learn to repair, reuse, and upcycle—keeping waste out of landfills while making a real impact on the environment.

Join other eco-conscious teens in this fun, collaborative workshop where you’ll not only fix items but also discover how small actions can have a big impact on the fight against climate change. Let’s break the cycle of waste—one repair at a time!
Bring along 2-3 broken items and get ready to repair, restore, and make a difference!
We can help you:
- sew buttons on clothing
- Small appliances that need to be fixed
- glue a handle on your favourite mug
- rewire a lamp
- darn a hole in socks
Dinner will be provided at no cost.
