Come and dance with us, no partner or experience required!Ever been in a bar with a live band or at a party and wished you could dance properly with someone?
Here's your chance to learn five cool moves with our Foundation Course.
-You'll learn the fundamentals of West Coast Swing and begin to understand the idea of lead and follow.
-You'll practise the rhythm of the dance through the footwork and we'll include lots of fun solo warm ups to help you get your feet travelling smoothly.
On the first night, which is also our taster class night, you'll be able to join our WhatsApp group which is where we will post a review video of each class so you can practise at home if you want to.
We'll also post videos of the top pros across the world to inspire you!
We can't wait to get everyone dancing!
Don't worry if you can't make week one, come along the following week and we'll catch you up.
Schedule:
9.00pm-10pm
Arrive at 8.45pm, and watch the Elements class who have already completed the foundations course.
Location:
- A new purpose-built centre with beautiful sprung floor studios. We are in Ryeish Green Studio the first one as you enter the building.
- By car:
School Green Centre in Shinfield 5 mins drive from Junction 10 on the M4. There is plenty of free parking at the front and behind the centre.
- By bus:
There is a bus from Reading station called Leopard 3 which stops a 5 min walk away from the venue.
Cost:
Pay as you go, £10 on the door/students £6 cash or card.
