FIVE SECONDS EXPIRED From Vermont, USA.
Originally known as SLUSH (est. 1993).
Five Seconds Expired built a dedicated fanbase, as SLUSH, starting in the early 1990's with their self-released recordings and extensive touring. Known for high-energy performances, with their own blend of rock, metal, and hardcore music with vocal styles to match. The band received local and then national coverage beginning with their self-titled debut, "Slush" (1994) and its follow-up, "Step Inside" (1994) and through extensive touring and music releases, getting signed in 1995 and the name change to FIVE SECONDS EXPIRED, onto the eventual hiatus in 2007.
There was much that followed those origins, including a string of album releases and touring ...but this current time in 2025 is a celebration of where it all began!
The renewed discography begins now with "The Slush Years"; A reimagined song collection built from the original 1994 releases remixed, and mastered for the first time ever.
Five Seconds Expired will celebrate 32 years as a band with "The Slush Years" in a One-Night-Only performance with longtime/original members of the band on stage for the first time in 18 years!
