We’re excited to welcome Five Pound Horse to the Barrington Hall stage for an evening of rich, original music from some of the most compelling voices in Western Mass.Five Pound Horse blends Americana, folk, and indie country into something all their own. With thoughtful songwriting, layered instrumentals, and a sound that shifts between intimate and anthemic, their live shows are known for drawing you in and holding you there. Their music is rooted in the rural Northeast but resonates far beyond — stories of longing, change, and place, wrapped in melodies that stay with you.
The night also features two standout opening acts:
Whistle & The Stack — the four-piece acoustic project of Kip Beacco, Matt Downing, Jordan Weller, and Dan Teichert. Their sound mixes sharp storytelling with harmony-driven arrangements and a stripped-down sensibility that lets each song breathe.
Hannah Bracken opens the night with a solo set marked by lyrical depth and vocal clarity. Her songs are intimate and emotionally resonant, with a quiet power that sets the tone for the evening.
All tickets are general admission. We’ll have a limited number of tables and chairs available on a first come, first served basis. The rest of the venue is standing room — get here early to grab your spot and settle in.
