He has graced the stages of renowned European festivals, including the Amalfi Coast Music Festival and the South Bohemia Music Festival, and has toured extensively in China, captivating audiences with his virtuosity and depth.
Hershberger is not only a celebrated soloist but also an avid chamber musician. He recently formed Duo Vivo! with cellist Gregory Hamilton and performs with the Excelsior! Trio, recognized as Class Notes Artists by Minnesota Public Radio. His dynamic performances and collaborations have made him a sought-after artist at festivals and venues across the United States, including the Oracle Chamber Music Festival and the Great Romantics Music Festival in Canada.
Currently a Professor of Piano at Concordia College, Hershberger’s students have gone on to win prestigious competitions and attend top graduate programs. His acclaimed recording, Transfigured Shadows, featuring works by Franz Liszt, has been highlighted on Michael Barone’s New Releases radio program.
