Join Us for a Fitness Fundraiser to Help Ivy!On Sunday, 21st September, we’ll be hosting a special fitness fundraiser to raise money for our lovely Ivy’s surgery.
Ivy has been diagnosed with Medial Patellar Luxation (MPL) in both knees, which means her kneecaps keep slipping out of place, causing her pain and difficulty walking. The only way to give Ivy a pain-free, active life is through surgery.
She requires a Tibial Crest Transposition (TCT) and groove deepening (trochlear sulcoplasty) to improve her knee health. The surgery is estimated to cost £2,100 per leg, with follow-up x-rays costing around £350–£400 per operation.
Thankfully, Ivy has a loving home while she awaits her operation. Her wonderful owners are helping her stay strong through regular hydrotherapy with Rosecroft Canine Rehabilitation in preparation for surgery.
Heartbreaking as circumstances like this are, dogs like Ivy can get the care they deserve thanks to your generous donations. Ivy will be joining our final class to give a huge thank you, and we’ll also have dogs looking for their forever homes at the other two classes.
