On May 23, 2024, the International Day to End Obstetric Fistula, please join the School of Nursing for a reception in honor of the Fistula Art Exhibit and the legacy of Dr. Mary Ann McCammon, professor emerita and founder of Quilts for Empowerment. The program will include remarks celebrating the exhibit, the meaning of the day, and the contributions of Dr. McCammon and other collaborators. The event will also include opportunities to tour the exhibit and engage deeply with the artwork and the stories of the obstetric fistula survivors who created them.
