Tom Stewart, a 3rd generation fisherman that grew up along the Fox River in Elgin, will share his knowledge about the sport of fishing and secrets for successfully fishing the Fox River. After spending 30 years with the Kane County Forest Preserve District as a Senior Ranger, Tom is currently the President of the Elgin Chapter of the Izaak Walton League - a conservation organization that promotes outdoor recreation and wise stewardship of the land. Tom will highlight conservation ethics, discuss the tackle needed in various situations and point out the best public access locations.
