In advance of Portree RNLI Open Day this year (23 August), we are hosting a fishing competition on Thursday 21 August 🎣 🐟 Fishing area: Blind Sound (North) to Raasay Narrows (South)
🐟 Target fish: pollock, mackerel, wrasse and dog fish
🐟 Briefing starts at 4.30pm and all fish should be landed (gutted) on the Portree pier by 9pm
RULES:
• 3 persons per team
• Lifejackets are compulsory
• Maximum of 6 fish landed on pier
• All boats and persons must register by Monday 18 August. No entry fee but donations to Portree RNLI are welcome
Prizes for the heaviest fish in adult and under 16 age categories 🏆 you must catch the heaviest fish in all the target fish species (pollock, mackerel, wrasse and dog fish) to be in with a chance of winning!
