First U.S. based showcase of renowned Ukrainian artist Eugenia Gapchinska in Brooklyn, New York. The exhibition will feature several original works and popular prints by Gapchinska. Prints will be available for purchase.
Eugenia Gapchinska is a popular Ukrainian visual artist who was born in 1974 in Kharkiv, Ukraine. She calls herself the "Supplier of Happiness No. 1” for her whimsical and heartwarming art style that radiates joy and innocence. Her art blends a sense of nostalgia with playful surrealism, capturing moments of tenderness, love, and witty humor.
A graduate of the Kharkiv Institute of Art and Industry and the Nuremberg Academy of Arts, Gapchinska has exhibited her works across Ukraine, Russia, France, Belgium, England, Netherlands and other countries. Her pieces are held in European museums and private collections worldwide.
The exhibition will be hosted at MyBiblioteka, an international bookstore and library in Prospect Heights featuring books in Russian, Ukrainian and English. Guests will enjoy wine and light refreshments during this free event.
