First Time Home Buyer

"Homebuyer Education: ML Companies offers an in-depth homebuyer education course – we cover the process of becoming a homeowner, credit scores & impacts, understanding loan products & terminology, foreclosure, home maintenance, and much more. This class is available via live webinar on a monthly basis, or as a self-paced e-learning course through eHome America (also available in Spanish). Our course meets the minimum requirements to participate in many down payment assistance programs and counts towards 8 hours of homebuyer education. Homebuyer Development/Counseling: ML Companies offers personalized, in-depth homebuyer counseling to anyone, at any stage in their homebuying journey. Once clients set up their online profile they are invited to upload their financial documents and meet directly with one of our HUD Certified Homeownership Counselors. Our counselors will work with you to do an in-depth review of monthly budget & spending, financial goals, credit, savings, and help you establish goals & a timeline for becoming a homeowner. This is a free service and we offer counseling services in Spanish as well.
