When 4 best friends decided to combine their experience of standing ovations at the Grand OleOpry, the Ryman Auditorium, a wealth of West End theatres, as well as their history as majorlabel artists with numerous national tours & Radio 2 playlisting under their belts, the resultswere always going to be exceptional.
First Time Flyers are Vicki Manser, Jake Morrell, Poppy Fardell & Tim Prottey-Jones and theyhave an undeniable ear for feel-good melodies, wrapped in the warmth of 4-part harmony. Aband made up of 4 lead vocalists & multi-instrumentalists, First Time Flyers are the ultimateself-starters, welcoming into the mix their music production skill set, alongside their eye forconcept & design with everything they do.
The band launched to rave reviews at C2C Festival in 2023. A successful first year followedincluding a sold-out UK headline tour, numerous festival appearances and a slot opening forBruce Springsteen at BST Hyde Park.
2024 is set to be another busy year, bringing their live show to audiences across the UKincluding some high-profile festival appearances already confirmed. In addition to a busy liveschedule the band have a slate of new releases planned having spent time writing with some ofNashville’s top songwriters including Jeff Cohen (Sugarland, The Shires), Steve Diamond(Lonestar, Faith Hill) & Fred Wilhelm (Rascal Flatts, Little Big Town). The first of these newsongs is due in April.
