Learn the basic skills every angler needs to know: how to put together a pole, tie a knot, bait a hook and cast. Safety and ethics will also be discussed. Workshop participants will gain hands-on experience fishing along the lakes during the second hour. Everything needed for the program, including bait, is provided.
Fee: $5 per person.
Age: Ages 8 or older.

Shoreline fishing and the pier are accessible from the parking lot. Hidden Lakes Trout Farm has paved accessible trails from the parking lot. The shoreline fishing area is on natural surfaces over uneven terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online (https://www.reconnectwithnature.org/americans-with-disabilities-act-information/request-accommodation-inclusion-service/) no later than 48 hours before the program.
