About the March Speaker, Whit Lammons
Whit has industry experience in environmental engineering, domestic and international education, and chemical manufacturing. After earning his MBA at the University of Tennessee’s Haslam College of Business in December of 2016, Whit spent seven years at Eastman Chemical Company, where we held cross-functional roles in global procurement, pricing, and product management. In November of 2023, Whit accepted a position as product director at PlayCore/GameTime, a commercial playground, play space, and outdoor fitness company based in Chattanooga.
Whit is married to Lydia, and they have three children: Jesse (6), Caleb (4), and Leah (1). The Lammons attend First Presbyterian Church of Chattanooga. As a family, they enjoy hiking, camping, and taking advantage of all of Chattanooga’s playgrounds. Whit is an active cyclist, and his go-to cycling route is a loop over Signal Mountain and Lookout Mountain. A current stretch goal is to climb all (53) Colorado’s 14,000 ft mountains; he has completed 23 so far.
