Take a journey into our past with readings of Jay Ignacio’s Alandal and Ambeth Ocampo’s Cabinet of Curiosities, an exploration of selected artifacts from the museum’s collection, and masterful chanting by National Living Treasure Rosie Sula.
In 𝘊𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘊𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴: 𝘏𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘗𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘈𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘴, renowned historian Ambeth Ocampo presents a diverse set of 100 items that unveil the nation’s identity, hidden narratives, and deep insights into the Filipino historical experience.
Filmmaker, musician, and author Jay Ignacio's 𝘈𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘭 transports us to Islas Filipinas in 1774, exploring a powerful story of self-discovery and identity.
Finally, witness an enchanting performance by Rosie Sula. Hailing from a renowned clan of Datu and Bo’i in Lake Sebu, Rosie carries the Tudbulul, the highest form of musical expression among the T’boli people. Her chanting embodies the stories, rhythms, and spirit of her people.
