Starting another painting in my white series. Must admit white is my favorite non-colour to paint as I get to challenge myself to see as many colours as I can. Knowing the more colour I use the whiter it will look. My buddy Domino is helping as usual. These photos are just the beginning. First - came taking multiple photos over the past 6 months so I have wide variety to chose from
Second - I had to find the right canvas perfect for the image. In this case I was lucky to have been given some free canvases from a student I use to teach
Third - Prep the canvas and as we know I like to use Red Oxide now
Forth- draw using chalk
Fifth - underpaint and I chose purple and white to capture the essence of the flowers
Sixth- You will have to join me later to my over painting in progress or better still come to my Open Studio this Saturday Sept 6 11:00- 3:00
