Shoreline Greenway Trail (SGT) is hosting a scenic hike on Saturday, January 4th, 2025 at 10 AM starting at the historic Boathouse at Canal Dock in New Haven (475 Long Wharf Drive, New Haven, CT 06511) and exploring the Southerly connection to West Haven along the East Coast Greenway.

Put your best foot forward to start the new year with a walk with our newest members to explore the concepts for the SGT to get from New Haven to West Haven in the future. Meet at the historic Canal Dock Boathouse as we walk South along the Vision Trail to see the Long Wharf Pier, Food Truck Paradise, Vietnam Veterans Memorial Park, Long Wharf Nature Preserve, Bayview Park, and historic City Point with a stop at the Pequonnock Yacht Club to warm up and bathroom break.
This is an easy terrain with walking shoes – mostly along sidewalk and a little along stone dust paths. About 4 miles and 2 hours.
