The First Saturdays Devotion, also known as the "Five First Saturdays" or "Act of Reparation to the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary", is a Catholic practice that involves making reparation for sins against the Immaculate Heart of Mary on the first five Saturdays of consecutive months. The practice was first mentioned by Our Lady to the children of Fatima on May 13, 1917.Every first Saturday of the month, the parishioners of Sts. Peter and Paul gather to pray the rosary with medications, participate in reconciliation, attend the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and then spend quality time with one another of lunch. All are welcome and we encourage you to invite guests!
The first Saturday in July is unique. After lunch will be welcoming Karlo Broussard as he speaks to us about “How to Talk to Protestants about Mary.” As a staff apologist and speaker for Catholic Answers, he travels the country giving talks on apologetics, biblical studies, theology, and philosophy. Karlo has published articles on a variety of subjects in Catholic Answers Magazine, is a regular guest on Catholic Answers Live, and is an active blogger. He is also a new resident within the Diocese of Tulsa and Eastern Oklahoma. You can read more about Karlo Broussard at

PLEASE NOTE FOR LUNCH: A main course and beverages will be provided (TDB). Let us warmly welcome our guest speaker, Karlo Broussard, by bringing a large portioned side dish or dessert to share amongst the community.
