Join us at the Iowa City Bike Library on Wednesday, August 20 for a conversation about Iowa City’s local food and bike scene!
This month, we're pleased to spotlight the 2025 Farm to Street beneficiary - the Iowa City Bike Library - and learn how they plan to use event proceeds to launch their new Wheels to Meals program.
With support from the Farm to Street dinner, the Bike Library will pilot Wheels to Meals in Fall 2025 - a commuter preparedness and mentorship program designed for grocery store trips. Participants’ bikes will be equipped with racks and panniers, and group rides to local grocers and markets will help build community, confidence, and excitement around bike commuting.
