I'm super excited to announce that weather permitting, our very first weekly High School (14-18YO) Social meet up at Painswick Park!!!The entire family of the participating Teen is welcome to attend at the park, but I will have a special section with 3-4 tables cordoned off for only the teens. PLEASE RSVP BY AUGUST 25th IF YOU ARE COMING, so I know how many tables to set up.
The tables will have some art supplies, card games and board games on them starting at 12:45pm. Around 1pm, once everyone has arrived, we will do some ice breaker activities to help the teens get to know each other a little bit better. Next, we will spend some time discussing what they would like this social experience to look like, and hopefully, get a list of ideas going of things they'd like to do, that we can implement together during the year.
IMPORTANT - If your child wants to be a part of this group, HE/SHE MUST ATTEND 2-3 OF THE 4 WEEKLY MEETINGS IN SEPTEMBER. This month will be a 'vibe check' month to see how the kids mesh together, so it's important that they get to spend a certain amount of time together for that to happen.
