On the first Friday of every month, Half Moon Bay art galleries are open a little later, until 6:00 PM. This is a unique opportunity to meet local artists, explore inspiring galleries, and experience the creative spirit of Downtown Half Moon Bay. The shopping district is five flat blocks of charming galleries, gift shops, and restaurants, about ¼ mile in length. Many of our remarkable buildings were built in the 1800s. We hope you’ll visit one of our excellent eateries after your art walk.Some galleries offer special programs on First Friday. If you’re making a special trip to visit a particular gallery, we recommend calling ahead to confirm.
