Sail into the Valentine's season by dancing the night away to Yacht Rock!This is Candela's monthly First Friday West Coast Swing Party, and we always have a good time:
• 7 p.m. - Beginner lesson
• 7:30-10 p.m. - West Coast Swing Dance Party
$15 (free admission for first-timers!)
NO experience needed, and no partner is necessary!
At our last party, a dancer requested that we play some Yacht Rock. We had so much fun dancing to the likes of Toto's "Africa" that we've decided to make it our theme for February!
There will also be other music mixed in, like contemporary (current top 40), blues, and country - but we will be heavy on the Yacht Rock this month ;)
We will be channeling the sunny seas, so feel free to dress as if you're about to cruise the Caribbean!
Our First Friday parties are great for a date night, friend outing, or solo adventure where you're sure to meet new friends. We always have a good time. Expect the unexpected, including line dances! Song requests are welcome.
