Ready to see Downtown Salinas transform? We're thrilled to share just a taste of what's planned for the very first First Friday Salinas on November 7, 2025 (5–8 PM)!
The evening kicks off with our Opening Ceremony! Join us at 5:00 PM at the One Main Street Stage (in front of the National Steinbeck Center) for a special welcome featuring the baile folklorico performances of the Boronda Dias Tonatitos.
Once the ceremony wraps, we encourage everyone to walk the entire route, through all three blocks of Main Street, from the 100s all the way through the 300s. Enjoy and support all the local businesses that call Main Street home!
Highlights You Can't Miss:
- Live Music & Entertainment: Catch the high-energy Aerial Violinist Razzvio performing between Aquablue and the Arch, a late-night Open Mic at Beerded Bean, and bands like The Edge and The Essence filling the street with sound.
- Art Demos & Open Studios: Watch La Gabz do a live painting session, check out the ArtWalk at Downtown Book & Sound or the Artist Reception at ArtWorks Salinas, bring the kids to a free Open Studio with Ms. Nada at Artist Ink, and don't forget the senior art show opening at Alliance on Aging!
- Open Shops & Tasty Bites: Grab a late-night bite and browse local treasures as businesses extend their hours! Warm up your night with a cup from Brewjee or get a late night treat from Ivan's Baked Potatoes!
