Come join us in the Main Gallery to celebrate the Opening Reception of Hawaiʻi Watercolor Society's 2025 Member’s Show, along with “Put a Handle On It,” an unjuried collection of ceramics artwork by retired ceramics instructor Shigeru Miyamoto, with 25 of his current and former students. In the Courtyard Gallery, meet and talk story with Hawaii veteran artist Alan Aoki, and see his exhibition, "Mokupuni a me ke kai: Island and Sea." Alan is a prolific painter known for his serene and pastel-hued depictions of Hawaii. In addition to his artistic practice, Aoki has also shared his expertise through teaching.
