On Friday, October 3, DO dance in the Waxing Gibbous Harvest Moon, which will climax Oct. 7. The October full moon is so-named because it comes close on the heels of Mabon, the autumnal equinox. (It's the first of three supermoons that will take us all the way through year's end!) So fill the space with your own shining bright light and cherish those around you.
In this meditation through conscious movement, there are no dance steps to follow or expectations to dance with others. You feel what you need to, take time to draw or stretch... rest or amp it up at any time throughout the dance. Bring your beautiful self, just as you are.
Doors open at 6:45PM
Opening Circle begins at 7:00PM
We ask everyone to please sign in at the door so that we can keep you in the loop about dance related offerings. After signing in, get settled and join the dance floor for a period of grounding and invitational "warming up" movement.
At the opening circle, facilitators of the Ecstatic Dance Collective will say a few words about the space and intention of the dance. After our 1.5 hour of meditative movement/ecstatic dancing, we will circle up for a bit to briefly (and optionally) share our experience before heading out into the world to share our love and good vibes.
WHAT TO BRING
* Water bottle
* Comfy, layered clothing
* $10 suggested offering -20% goes to Donation (CASH preferred)
*Please note that the dance is a space for adults; childcare is not available at this time.
