Sarah Rehmer is an encaustic painter from Chicago, Illinois. Her work is in private collections in and around United States, Canada, Italy, Norway, and well as institutional and corporate collection in Illinois and New York. Rehmer teaches classes and workshops on her craft all around the Midwest. Her work includes encaustic, paper, photography and oil on panel.
Encaustic painting, also known as hot wax painting, is a form of painting that involves a heated wax medium to which colored pigments have been added.
