Analog Appalachia is a journey down the crooked road of memory seen through the phosphorescent lens of old TV sets. Travis draws inspiration from his experiences in the deciduous landscape of the mountain south and the cathode ray televisions and computer screens that marked a 90s childhood.
Best known for his work as the drummer for Annabelle’s Curse, Travis is a multimedia artist and musician based in Bristol, TN. He specializes in paper collage, video installations, and instrumental music under as Mendota. His work is intended to be immersive and often includes visual and audio elements.
