We are excited to announce Lindy Vision as our headlining performer for the January edition of First Friday! Catch them as they deliver their genre-bending sounds, influenced by music like moody 80’s new wave, vibrant synth-pop, and atmospheric indie rock. Lindy Vision is a black native (Jicarilla Apache Nation) sister band hailing from Albuquerque, NM comprised of Dorothy and Natasha Cuylear. To date, Dorothy (DD) and Natasha (NA) continue to write and perform as a duo, creating music that represents empowerment and acceptance. Together, through their music, they continue to promote Indigenous women’s empowerment and resilience as they continue to grow and evolve together. Before the show, be sure to mingle and network at the Matriarch Mixer, hosted by the amazing women of the Indigenous Community Collaborative. Meet and network with other professionals in a space that aims to uplift others in their work and acknowledge the achievements of matriarchs in their respective fields.
The mixer is open to all, and we encourage your participation in the workshops and icebreakers!
Check back for announcements about program details. The Coffee Cantina will be open late with a delicious selection of food and drinks, and, as always, admission to the Heard will be FREE.
