🎄It’s beginning to look a lot like everyone’s favorite season in Downtown Corpus Christi! 🎉Join us Friday, December 1st, from 6-10 p.m. in #DowntownCC for the biggest holiday party of the year with FIRST FRIDAY ARTWALK (holiday edition) presented by @heb! Artesian Park, La Retama Park, and downtown businesses will host pop-up vendors, live music, seasonal specials, art exhibitions, and more, filling downtown with cheer for all to hear!
✨PLUS—downtown businesses, shops, & restaurants have decked their storefronts to compete in the MAYOR’S SPARKLING CHRISTMAS LIGHTS CONTEST powered by AEP Foundation @aepnews. Stay tuned for a list of participating businesses!
📌There will be no NO STREET CLOSURES in December, January or February! Due to a history of unpredictable adverse weather in the winter months the DMD hosts the 'ArtWalk Park & Pop-up Party' format in order to prevent last-minute operational changes. Road closures are not a quick element to deploy and cannot be removed once in place. The DMD’s priorities are keeping access to businesses, movement through the district, public safety, & having a great time!
👨‍👨‍👧‍👦The event is family-friendly and pet-friendly. Those 21+ years and older planning to party responsibly are recommended to Uber or Lyft Downtown.
