Welcome to our inaugural First Fridays Movies Nights 2025 at the Bronx Independent Cinema Center! Join us at on the first Friday of each month from May to November for a night of cinematic magic. Dive into thought-provoking discussions, meet fellow film enthusiasts, and discover hidden gems on the big screen. Don't miss out on this exciting in-person event - see you there!
All screenings are FREE!
The locations will rotate monthly.
Doors Open at 6PM and the screening will start at 7: 00 PM.

ABOUT THE FILM
It’s the holidays, and Ben Santhanaraj shows up to Sri Lanka to see Suzanne Hopper, his long-distance partner who works there. Unfortunately, Suzanne’s been informed she now has to work through the holidays, thwarting their dream vacation plans (and his amorous intentions). They decide to go along with their itinerary, her laptop in tow, but nothing seems to work out as planned, leading to candid conversations and chaotic twists.
Will their relationship endure — or have they grown too far apart?

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Shaun Seneviratne just finished his first feature, BEN AND SUZANNE, A REUNION IN 4 PARTS, shot on location in Sri Lanka. His shorts screened at Nantucket, Montclair, CAAMFest, San Diego Asian, and Bushwick. He teaches in Brooklyn, co-hosts Rohmercast, and runs Redacted Screenings. He’s based in New York City.
