Learn how to join First Families of Muskingum County, a lineage society for those who can prove descent from a pioneer who lived in Muskingum County before 1830. The application process will be explained in detail, along with information about other lineage societies sponsored by the Muskingum County Genealogical Society and the Ohio Genealogical Society.
Brooke Anderson and Rose Ellen Jenkins from the Muskingum County Genealogical Society will guide you through discovering whether your ancestors were among Muskingum County’s first residents—and how to preserve and celebrate that history.
